Ahsoka lands on Disney Plus later this month. A new teaser confirms Hayden Christensen will return to Star Wars once more as Anakin Skywalker.
Ahsoka Tano has always had close ties to Anakin Skywalker given she was his padawan in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. With Rosario Dawson bringing the character to life on Disney Plus, fans wondered if Hayden Christensen would return for the characters to have a live-action reunion. A new teaser for the series suggests so, with new dialogue from Christensen confirming his return in some form:
Given Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker has long become Darth Vader by the time of Ahsoka, it’s most likely the dialogue come from a flashback to around the time of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. While perhaps not the perfect reunion fans were hoping for, it seems as though the Disney Plus show is doing all it can to make it the ultimate Ahsoka Tano story.
The Ahsoka Tano series is being developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The latter co-created Ahsoka alongside George Lucas, with the heroine making her first appearance in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The cast of the Ahsoka Tano series includes Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, a.k.a. Darth Vader. Ivanna Sakhno and Ray Stevenson round out the cast.
